At the age of 13 Scott Tucker began working in the automotive industry. He took a job stocking parts at a Corvette parts store called Corvette Stop. Eventually he started restoring corvettes.

In high school, Scott attended the North Country Regional Occupation Program, taught at DeAnza College in Cupertino, Ca. and was chosen to represent the school in the Plymouth/AAA Troubleshooting Contest.

After high school, Scott studied Automotive Technology at DeAnza College. His first year he went through the engine machining track taught by Gary Lewis. That year, he met Demitri 'Dema' Elgin. Dema taught the High Performance Engine Preparation at DeAnza for 32 years.

Dema is the owner of D.Elgin Cams in Santa Rosa, Ca. (www.elgincams.com). His cams have won thousands of races and powered countless high performance street cars.

Scott spent 4 years at Dinan Engineering (www.dinancars.com), in Morgan Hill, Ca. in their engineering department. Dinan is North America's largest BMW Tuner. Dinan also builds racing engines and is very succesful. Dinan powered Daytona Prototypes recently took first and second place at the 24 hours of Daytona. Steve Dinan took Dema's high performance engine prep class the first year it was taught in 1974.

Scott currently works at Canepa Design (www.canepa.com), in Scotts Valley, Ca. restoring collector cars and historic race cars.

He is currently attending the University of San Francisco, studying Information Systems.
